Executive Biographies Kevin Jarvis Director, Shipyard Integration As the Director of Shipyard Integration, Kevin is responsible for integrating our Shipyard of the Future (SYoF) plans. This enterprise-wide effort includes effective integration of all aspects of our business into the SYoF including build strategies, shops/ship and front end processes, facilities and equipment upgrades, technologies and driving multi- source investment efforts. Kevin also retains his leadership of the Advanced Capabilities Group to strategically integrate our technology insertion and R&D efforts into the overall shipyard plan. During his more than 30-year shipbuilding career, Kevin has held the positions of Director of Business Development, Program Manager for the Arsenal Ship, the AMCV Cruise Ship, and the National Security Cutter. He also served as Deputy Program Manager for the LPD Program. Kevin began his career as a systems engineer, responsible for shipside integration of the Vertical Launching System and the Tomahawk Weapon System aboard the CG 47 Class Cruisers. In 2002, Kevin was Sector Director of Facilities and Maintenance and was the Program Manager for a $463 million modernization program across the Gulf Coast. In 2006, he was named Vice President, DDG 51 Aegis Destroyer Construction Program. In 2007, he assumed responsibility for more than 10,000 shipbuilders as Sector Vice President for Ship Construction. In late 2008, Kevin assumed the role of Vice President, Large Deck Amphibious Programs. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology. Kevin and his wife Shelley reside in Latimer, Miss., with their daughter, Brandy, who is attending the University of Southern Mississippi.
