A Master Class in Healing is a unique opportunity to experience internationally
renowned therapists and healers Bradford and Hillary Keeney conducting live
sessions in a professional setting. This offering is open to anyone interested in the
practice of the healing arts including professional practitioners of therapy,
counseling, coaching, or bodywork, as well as spiritual enthusiasts and those
generally interested in the topic of healing. Each day presents live sessions where
the Keeneys work with a wide range of issues, problems, and requests for help.
With their backgrounds in creative systemic therapy, energy medicine, and ecstatic
shamanism and spirituality, the Keeney orientation to healing, called Sacred
Ecstatics, is rooted to the best of the oldest and newest ways of facilitating change
and wellbeing. Attendees will witness firsthand how to move past the limiting
constraints of all habitual practice models, transcend mind/body dualisms, and step
into a broader range of transformative possibilities. Practitioners are invited to
awaken a healing heart and become more spiritually present in their work. The
Master Class is ideal for both seasoned and beginning practitioners who desire to
bring more embodied spiritual presence and creative magic into their sessions.
The Master Class will focus on the art of conducting a dynamic healing session
that welcomes various forms of expression including talk, movement, and music.
The beginning goal of a session is to move a client into a vaster spiritual context
that brings new possibilities, resources, and mystery to the situation. Healing then
takes place in a heightened experiential zone that inspires innovative treatment. As
the “spiritual temperature” gets hotter in a session, the voice of healing moves
from mere conversation to the more charged sounds and movements of an
awakened healing encounter. Finally, a session brings the client back to the
everyday with prescribed action to be infused into his or her life. As the Keeneys
demonstrate, healing spiritually attunes clients as well as mobilizes them for
altered action and evolving change.
You are invited to experience how ecstatically-empowered healing can transform
both the lives of clients and the group witnessing and supporting the sessions. The

Fee: $350 for 3-day Master Class.
Professionals please add $25 for 16 CEUs for LPC, LMFT, LCSW (CEUs pending approval).
Hours: Friday and Saturday, April 24-25, from 9am-5pm (2-hour lunch).
Sunday, April 26, noon-5pm (with a coffee break).

If a participant needs to cancel their attendance for any reason, full refunds will be granted up through March 27th, 2015.
After March 27th, no refunds on any payments received will be granted. If the event is cancelled by the hosts, full refunds
on all payments received will be granted.
About the Keeneys:
Bradford Keeney, Ph.D., is an internationally renowned
spiritual teacher, creative therapist, and improvisational
pianist. Keeney has served as a professor, founder, and
director of clinical doctoral programs in numerous
universities and is the originator of several orientations to
psychotherapy. Brad was chosen as the authorized successor
to Ikuko Osumi Sensei, the foremost practitioner of seiki
jutsu (Japanese non-subtle energy medicine) in the
20th century. The Kalahari Bushmen, among other traditions,
regard Brad as an elder shaman and healer. He is the author
of over 40 books including The Creative Therapist, Seiki
Jutsu: The Practice of Non-Subtle Energy Medicine, and The
Bushman Way of Tracking God, which won the prestigious
Silver Nautilus national book award. His forthcoming
publication with Hillary Keeney, Way of the Bushman: Spiritual Teachings and Practices of the Kalahari Ju/’hoansi,

Hillary Keeney, Ph.D., is a distinguished author, scholar, and teacher of creative transformation and improvisational
movement. Co-Founder and President of The Keeney Institute for Healing, she is Director of Research at Etfasis
Institute for Systemic Family Therapy in Querétaro, Mexico, Distinguished Visiting Professor at Benemérita
Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) in Mexico, and Associate Editor of the journal, Dance, Movement, and
Spiritualities. Hillary previously served as Senior Research Fellow and Clinical Faculty at the University of
Louisiana. Hillary’s most recent books (co-authored with Bradford Keeney) include Circular Therapeutics: Giving
Therapy a Healing Heart, Creative Therapeutic Technique: Skills for the Art of Bringing Forth Change, and Seiki
Jutsu: The Practice of Non-Subtle Energy Medicine, which was named one of the “Best Spiritual Books of 2014” by
