ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE
Kalasalingam Institute of Technology
(KIT) was established in 2008 by Kalvivallal
Thiru. T. Kalasalingam, the Founder Chairman,
run by Kalasalingam and Anandam Ammal
Charities. Presently our esteemed Institution is
functioning under solemn leadership of
“Ilayavallal”,Thiru.K.Sridharan,
The objective of this FDTP is to bring
Industrialists, Academicians and other user
communities together on a common platform to
discuss and share their expertise and ideas of
recent trends and technologies in the field of Grid
and Cloud Computing.

COURSE COVERAGE
KIT is located in a sprawling area of 25
acres in Anand Nagar, Krishnankoil. The
Institution is approved by AICTE, New Delhi
that is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
The College offers UG Courses such as CSE,
Civil, EEE, ECE, IT and PG courses in CSE &
VLSI. Our college is one of the NPTEL Nodal
centres that provides online video lectures and
power point presentations for more than 850
courses to ensure the effective teaching and
learning process. The Institution has strong
Industrial Interaction and well equipped
laboratories with experienced faculty members.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Computer Science
and Engineering is offering B.E & M.E
courses with a intake of 120 seats for UG
and 24 seats for PG, since the
establishment of the Kalasalingam Institute
of Technology in the year 2008, with a
view to impart Quality Education to young
peer groups. The program pursues an
intensive course curriculum prescribed by
Anna University, Chennai .

There is no course fee for the training
programme. The number of participants is
restricted to 25 only. Registration for the FDTP
can be done using attached form or photo copy
of the form. The filled -in form should be sent to
the coordinators’ e-mail on or before the
submission date. Certificates will be issued to
candidates who attend the program in full, by
CFD, Anna University, Chennai.
