Sub: Request to extend Alr Fare facility to marine supenrisors
performing ON/OFF duty in WOU Offshore installations.
Respected Sir,
This has reference to our earlier letter no. ONGC/KS/035/2013 dated
15102/2013, on the above issue, and are performing ON/OFF duty
from different part of the country. Please find enclosed the zerox copy
of the same. It is pertinent to mention that they were working in forces
as Master chief petty officer (CPO) or petty officer (PO), out of 4O
marine supervisors 3O are petty officer (PO). CPOs were entitle for 2"d
AC II tire sleeper train fare and PO'S were entitle for 3ra AC train fare,
when they were working in Naly. Besides that they get 5O% concession
in air tickets. Please find enclosed the copy of the same for your
perusal. We are pursuing to extend the facility of Air Fare to these
employees working on 4 years tenure in ONGC since last two years.
In the pay revision of 2OO7 minimum entitlement for travel purpose is
made 3 tire AC sleeper to the newly joined employees. Whereas 2nd
class trains fare is given to these ex-servicemen working as Marine
supervisors on four years tenure in ONGC. As per forces rules their
facilities at the time of retirement should be continued to these
emolovees.

It is our earnest request to kindly look into the matter and extend the
Air Facility to these Marine Supervisors so that they can be
reimbursed air fare, as being a ex-senricemen, they are getting alr
tickets at 5Oo/o concessional rate only. This is equvilant to 3 tire AC
sleeper fare.
