Creative Summer Science Workshop – 2015
The KSSTM is conducting science workshops for science enthusiasts during April and May
2015. The objective of the workshop is to develop a scientific temper and thereby a scientific
culture among students by providing them hands on experience in basic science and emerging
technologies.
In addition to lectures and practical sessions on Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and
Biology, the students will be exposed to Astronomy, Space Science, Environment, Agricultural
practices, Modern communication techniques etc. Programs on emerging technologies like
Nanotechnology, Biotechnology and Robotics are also included. Another focus in this year's
workshop is to form Science Reading Club. The idea is to popularise science literature and science
fiction and there by to develop a scientific culture in children. Creative thinking and activity based
study will be given special emphasis throughout the program.

Interested students can register for the screening test free at the reception and download from
website of Kerala State Science & Technology Museum from 10 th March to 20th March 2015 by
bringing original and copy of School ID card and passport size photograph (2 nos.) during office
hours.
