Center Open House:
Ms. V.’s Birthday
Sunday, June 7, noon to 4 pm
No registration necessary, FREE
Ms. V., the turkey vulture, is our oldest resident
at the Wildlife Center, and she is turning 30
years old this year! Celebrate with us as we learn
all about vultures and enjoy some birthday cake!
Train rides (weather permitting) from 1 to 3 pm
The Big Campout
Saturday–Sunday, June 27–28,

All ages (younger than 18 with adult),
$25 per campsite
Enjoy nature programs, hikes and family
activities while camping in your tent or camper
at Penitentiary Glen! No electrical or water
hookups. Pre-register early!

A Summer Evening Entertainment Series
Enjoy a summer evening surrounded by nature at Penitentiary Glen Reservation’s outdoor
amphitheater. Bring a lawn chair. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase. Indoor
facilities are available in case of inclement weather. Alcoholic beverages permitted on site for
concerts and Shakespeare Festival only. No registration necessary.

Wine & Cheese Gorge Hike
Ages 21 and older, Fee: $15
Explore the gorge on a challenging hike and return
to the Nature Center for cheese, crackers and
other snacks. Wear waterproof footwear. Wine is
not provided, but participants may bring their own.

Designed for individuals with limited mobility—
