Mother’s Day Flower Baskets Still Available

There are a dozen beautiful plants still available from the Mother’s Day Flower Basket Sale.
They are in the Fellowship Hall. The cost is $18 each or two for $35. All proceeds will benefit
the church Campership program.
Adopt-A-Highway Clean-up
Saturday, May 23rd, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
LUMC has continued its Highway 34B clean-up service. The Adults in Mission group has decided
to assume responsibility for this Mission Journey. All are welcome (to include Jr. and Sr. High
Youth) to participate. Safety gear and clean-up equipment will be provided. Join us at the

LUMC Annual Chicken BBQ
Saturday, May 23rd, 10:30 a.m.
Our annual chicken BBQ, prepared by master griller Dave Hatfield, will be held next Saturday,
May 23rd at the Lansing Town Ball Fields. Cost is $9 for a full dinner or $7 for half a chicken
only. We'll start serving at 10:30 a.m. and we anticipate a quick sellout again this year. Please
let Dave know if you're interested in helping to grill the chicken. There's also a signup sheet in
the Narthex for desserts. Please bring those to the ball fields no later than 10:00 a.m. Saturday
or you can leave them in the church kitchen Friday evening.
VBS 2015 - G-FORCE! Pre-Registration is LIVE!

this year! Pre-registration is intended for children attending as well as
adult volunteers! Thus, if you would like to volunteer during the week of
