Dear Parents,
Summer Vacation are about to begin and your child is going to be with you throughout the day, wanting
your attention for various activities. It is the best time for you as parents, to spend as much time as you can
with your child. These fun filled activities, during the holidays will bring you and your child together,
enjoying many hours of your undivided attention. Inculcate Good habits in the child.
 Playing in gardens and parks always brings joy for little kids; at the same time they can prove to be a
great learning source i.e. different plants, trees, flowers, leaves, their colour etc. Bring your child close
to nature and let him/her learn different concepts through nature. Take your child on a nature walk.
 Animals and birds are children’s favourite!
Let them have a closer look, a first hand experience about the same. Visit a zoo, your child will learn a
lot about different animals and birds.
 Make sure that your child accompanies you while going to the super market, mother dairy, etc. Show
different vegetables and fruits and ask him/her to identify and pick up which ever they want to eat.
 Children must learn to help themselves by laying the dining table, eating with spoon, keeping the
things at proper place, etc. Let your child help you in doing some basic activities of the house.
 Spend some time with your child by playing or simply making normal conversation to enhance the
