English
1. Personalities need not always be famous all the time. You can be impressed by so many
people around you. The bus conductor, the pizza delivery boy, the school van driver,
the book store keeper , the postman etc. Talk to any one of them and prepare a
questionnaire for him, about his work, how he see his life and what are his dreams etc.
Do it in your activity file.
2. Write the names of any 3 News Channels and write any 3 news headings which you feel
are important.
3. Read Unit – 1 of My English Reader and do the exercises in the chapter.

Prepare an advertisement of your New school DAV Public School Budhpur on an A-4 size white
sheet in your activity file. Write a quote on education and the facilities provided by the school.

Mathematics
1) Make 5 snowflakes on glaze paper and paste them in activity file. Also
find the lines of symmetry of these designs.
2) Using tangrams, make pictures of any two animals, any two objects and
any two geometrical designs .Paste all these in activity file .
3) Prepare a book cover containing different mathematical symbols .
G.Science
1. Make a report on EARTHQUAKE which recently hit Nepal and adjacent areas.( minimum 8
pages with pictures) in Science Activity File.
2. Take 3 long rectangular plane mirror strips and use them to make a Kaleidoscope. Put some
pieces of coloured bangles in it. Draw the images which you see in it on a sheet of paper and
paste the same in your science activity file.
3. Paste any 5 new science news from daily newspaper in your activity file.
S.Science
1. Collect the pictures from different newspapers and magazines etc depicting the different
deadly
aspects of earthquake which hit Nepal recently. List down the relief measures taken by
Indian
Government to rehabilitate the affected people.
2. Collect pictures of any 5 great leaders of India and write the slogan they have given.
3. Design poster on a theme of Reduce Reuse and Recycle.
4. Collect pictures of the Governor and Chief Minister of your state and paste them in your
activity
file. Find out the time period for which he is going to be in his office.
5. Suppose you got an opportunity to interview your favourite sports person or actor ,what
questions would you like to ask. Frame a questionnaire of 10 questions.

Art
Make a beautiful border of pastel sheet ( cut it into strips ) and decorate it with some
decorative material like mirrors . Its measurement should be length of one pastel sheet and
breadth of 6 cm.
