Come this evening at 6:30 PM as the Lindale Worship Team once again leads an
evening of worship in the sanctuary. All are welcome to come for a time of praise and
fellowship with our church family.
If anyone is interested in providing food for the Linville-Edom food bags for the
month of April, please see Jennifer Sommers to sign up in the foyer immediately
following church today. Food will need to be brought to Lindale by next Sunday. If
you will not be here on Easter Sunday, let Jennifer know and she will assign you
something to bring for later in the month. Thanks for your help with this outreach!
You are invited to “Creative Company!” this coming Wednesday at 6:30-8:00 PM, in
Lindale Fellowship Hall. This is a group for anyone who wishes to learn or continue
work on whatever creative project you have your hands on now! Bring your current
project, or your desire to learn from another person!
The Shenandoah Valley Choral Society, under the direction of Curtis Nolley, will
present its annual spring concert, a Musical Garden, on Friday, April 17th, at 7:30 PM,
and Sunday, April 19th, at 3:00 PM at Bridgewater Church of the Brethren. Check
announcements on the Programs bulletin board for further details.
Due to Maundy Thursday activities, LMW will meet on April 9 instead of April 2.
Our Deacon’s Fund helps many people in financial need both within our congregation
and in our community. You will have the opportunity to contribute to this fund at the
Maundy Thursday service and again on Easter Sunday morning.
Maundy Thursday service is for all ages, with a family focus. The evening begins at
6:30 PM with a simple meal and includes communion and footwashing. The
children’s choir will sing and there will be a short meditation on each element of the
evening. Those with last names beginning with A – L bring a vegetable platter to
share; those with names beginning with M – Z bring a fruit platter to share. Also
bring your own place setting, including a bowl for soup.
Easter Sunday celebration begins with a fellowship breakfast from 9:30 – 10:15.
Sunday School classes will not meet. Worship Hour will begin at 10:30 as usual.
Hostess Committee will provide coffee and juice. Please bring breads, pastries and
fruit platters to share.
