projects from £100 to £20m for a variety of clients, as well as providing construction related services
such as plant hire and maintenance, security, roofing and waste recycling.
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Groundwork Specialist to join our team. The
successful candidate will be based at our Head Office in Lincoln but will support our Group wide
activities, so will be required to travel to our construction sites and offices in York and Peterborough.
The role will include reviewing the groundwork elements of tender documents, assessing ground
investigation reports, visiting and advising on potential sites. You will also be required to advise on
and prepare sub-contract and material enquiries, measurement, risk and value management at all
relevant stages of a project, assisting with identification of value engineering opportunities, tender
adjudication, advising on the use of in-house resources and providing help and advice on any
groundwork issues across the Group, as and when required.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in major civil engineering and all aspects of
groundwork and have experience dealing with both site teams, managers and specialists in a variety
of areas.
This position is full-time, Monday to Friday. Salary will be commensurate with experience, skill level
and qualifications and benefits include Group Personal Pension, profit related pay, employee share
scheme and opportunities for further training, development and progression.
