Chicks and Salsa Sequencing
Directions: Put the sentence strips in the correct order according
to the story. Use the next page to glue them in order.
The ducks were tired of fish so they picked
cilantro and garlic and made guacamole.
The farmer’s wife made tamales for the fair.
The chickens were tired of chicken feed.
All the animals went back to eating their
normal food.
The pigs were tired of slop.
The chickens and the rooster went to the
garden for tomatoes and onions.
The animals wanted a fiesta but, all the food in
the garden was gone.
The chickens ate chips and salsa that evening.
The pigs got beans and chiles out of the
garden and ate nachos that night.
