Senior Level Executive
As a Senior Executive, Luis brings extensive experience in planning, directing, and managing corporate sales and
operations including: employment, talent acquisition/retention, employee relations, compensation, training and
development, benefits administration, profit and loss management, factored-based funding, sales management and
revenue quota achievement. Ten years of proven combined experience include: sales, business development, public
safety, information technology, management/administration and human capital management. Luis has a strong foundation
in securing key corporate accounts and establishing sales practices in environments that require complex deliverables.
As the present Director of Operations for the small company, AcruxLED Lighting Technology, Luis has secured
impressive accounts. His integrity and dedication has brought success to the company resulting in annual revenue of $1
million. He has become an advocate for cost-effective and environmentally friendly LED technology; creating a thorough
catalog of certified LED products for high-end clients, businesses, and schools.
Formerly the Director of Sales and Marketing at Led Distributions Corp, Luis was responsible for marketing programs,
sales, plans, brand management, and corporate sponsorships. Prior to joining Led Distributions, Luis worked in the
Colombian Congress as a Consultant to the Seven House of Representatives Commission. He was trusted with advising
congress members in the commissions about new business network additions, directed all public relations, media
relations, and crisis communications.
Luis’ creativity, drive, and leadership skills are his greatest strengths. When presented with a challenge, Luis utilizes his
strengths to consider the big picture and formulate a plan for success. A recent project involved a strategic partnership
with Zenaro Lighting of Americas to bring Led Distributions Corp core services to the fast-growing Latin America market.
This resulted in annual revenue of $2.8 million.
In 2004, Microsoft recognized Luis as a MCP, Microsoft
Certified Professional. Luis has also been honored with
a nomination for the prestigious Entrepreneur Award
from International Spain Television and frequent
invitations to speak as an expert on industry related
topics.
In addition to his professional career, Luis is an active
member of his community. While volunteering his
services to the Colombian Foundation, Foundation por
mi Guajira, Luis lead the 2009, 2010, 2011 campaign to
deliver toys for children on Christmas day in a native
community of the Guajira Region located in the north of
Colombia. Luis also acts as a professional mentor,
providing highly valued guidance and career
development advice.
