INDIVIDUAL EVENT
 5km run for Males
 5km run for Females
(Minimum age is 7 years)
 10km run for Males
 10km run for Females
(Minimum age is 13 years)
Walkers are welcome to participate in the 5km events
If you enter a 10km event and only complete 5km, you will
be timed for 5km, but you will not be eligible for prizes.
AGE CATEGORIES
In order to qualify for an age category prize, you must put
your date of birth on the entry form.
*Runners who come first, second or third in an individual
event are not eligible for age prizes.

TEAM CATEGORIES
 5km Primary School – 7 to 12 years
 5km Open

 A team must have a minimum of four members
 The combined times of the first three members of
the team to cross the finish line will be used to
determine the results
 There will be no team entries accepted on the day
 You can only be a member of one team
*Team entries close at 5pm on 24th April 2015
(No late entries can be accepted)
EVENT RULES





ENTERING THE EVENT
The event must start at 9.15am
Spikes are not permitted to be worn on the course
No one can run or walk on the course between
9.15am and 10.30am without an official race bib
Walkers are welcome to participate in the 5km
event, but timing will cease at 10.30am
Outright winners and place getters in the 5km and
10km events are not eligible for prizes in the
individual age categories

Online Prize Draw
Online Entries are eligible for three (3) chances of winning
a $100 cash prize drawn before the race. Winners are to
collect a cheque in the registration area post run.

Team Names:
If you are the first person to enter a TEAM NAME, then
that team name can be selected by all other members of
your team.
Important – team leader must register asap so all the
other members can select the correct team.
Remember – teams can only register online.

Female - $100 each

Collect and fill in an entry
form - or download and fill
in prior
Pay the cashier your entry
fee with cash or cheque and
have your form verified.
Proceed to a 5km or 10km
table to collect your racing
bib.
NOTE – there is no discount on fees
for adults or a family on the day.
NOTE – your bib number will not be
eligible for our $100 online draws.
Your bib number will be placed in
the barrel for presentation prizes.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Collection of Racing Bibs
(Registered online)
Racing bibs can be collected
between 7.45 – 9am.
On the day registrations
Will be from 7.45am and close at
9am sharp. Registration fees can be
paid in cash or cheque.
Changing and Baggage Minding
Changing facilities and baggage
minding will be available next to
registration area.
DURING THE EVENT
Teams cannot enter extra members
on the day of the event.
Substitutions may be allowed for
registered team members who are
unable to race.
GETTING TO THE EVENT
Be early
The Fun Run will start at 9.15am
sharp. Allow sufficient time to get
to the starting line on time.
Venue
The venue and main entrance is
located on Cawdor Road, Camden.
Parking is available off there.
How to get there
The venue is located 300m south of
the Camden Shopping Centre
*Public transport available – check
with Busways
Online Prize Draw
This will take place in the
registration area prior to the
commencement of the event
Presentation
This will take place adjacent to the
registration area
After the Event
Bring a hat and sunscreen as the
weather could be warm during the
presentation and barrel draw
Barrel Draw Prizes
To be awarded a barrel draw prize,
you must be present when the draw
takes place. Barrel draws will take
place before and after the
presentations.
Car Parking
There is parking available which can
be accessed from the Cawdor Road
entry. Look out for the marshalls
and follow their directions.
Departure will be a left hand turn
into Cawdor Road

entry form may constitute personal
information under the Privacy and
Personal Information Protection Act
1998.
Participating in a run or walk has
certain risks associated with it,
especially if the participant is trying
to run/walk greater distances that
he/she normally does; that the
run/walk is being held on a area
where equestrian activities are
commonly held and hence ground
surfaces will be uneven; or if the
weather conditions on the day are
particularly adverse. Along with the
usual risks of running/walking, such
as the possibility of missing one’s
footing, stumbling or suffering from
muscular or other damage to legs
and feet, participants may suffer
from exertion or from the heat of
the day.
Macarthur Lions Club Inc is allowed
to collect the information form you
to consider this matter. Supplying
this information is voluntary.
However, if you cannot or do not
wish to provide the information we
may not be able to consider the

UNDERAGE PARTICIPANTS
If you are aged 17 years or under,
your parent or guardian must sign
the entry form which consents to
your participation.
WAIVER DECLARATION
The entry form contains a Waiver
Declaration. If this is not signed,
Macarthur Lions Club Inc will not be
able to consider you for this event.
