Too often we put ourselves down and fall into the tempting trap of comparing ourselves with others. God never makes comparisons or compares us to someone else. We can never live up to being someone else but we can live up to who God created us to be. We can begin this by believing in what we have to offer, it doesn’t have to be earth-‐shattering but our little is all that God wants. Others may demand much, but never God. God always wants to extend peace to us. Can we make peace with ourselves first as we journey through these weeks of lent? Can we leave the negative and cloudy parts of our past behind us and move on? It’s the only way forward. TROCAIRE BOXES ARE AVAILABLE AT THE BACK OF THE CHURCH. With your support of the Trocaire box campaign it is planned to help some communities in Ethiopia produce three crops a year instead of one uncertain crop by providing a reliable irrigation system to the community. th

typing skills, recording our monthly meetings and familiarity with emails and Internet would be necessary. The
role is interesting and varied and you would be the main contact for the Forum, although many queries will be
passed on to our Planning, Environment or Transport subcommittees, as appropriate. If you are interested please
contact me, the current Hon. Sec., Margaret Cure at [email protected] or on 01 8452142 and I will answer
any questions you may have and would be also more than happy to help a new candidate settle into the role.
