Announcements 10th – 11th January, 2015
1. Today, the Church celebrates the Baptism of our Lord.
2. The Parish Fathers will be visiting Zone 5 Sector 2 on Monday 12 th January, 2015. Animators
are requested to inform the families
3. Details regarding the fee structure and admission to St Anne International School (IGCSE)
for Prep I and II (Kindergarten) and Grade I and II, will be displayed on 10th January, 2015 of
the St Anne International Notice Board. Application forms for admission will be issued on
15th and 16th January, 2015 between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm.
4. The Parish Bible class will take place on Tuesday, 13th January after the 7.00 pm Mass in the
Nihar hall. These classes will cover the WISDOM BOOKS of the Old Testament. All are
welcome.
5. Bishop Bosco Penha will administer the Sacrament of Confirmation to 142 Youth, on
Monday, 26th January, 2015 at the two services in the morning namely at 9:00 am and 11:30
am. The Confirmation students will have a full day Recollection on Sunday, 18th January,
from 10:00 am onwards and Confessions on Tuesday, 20 th January from 7:30 pm. onwards
in the Church. All are expected to attend.
6. The next session of Pre-Baptism Catechesis will be held on 21st & 23rd January, 2015.
Registration forms are available in the Church office.
7. Our Sunday school is proud to introduce for the first time ever “TALENT MANIA”, a
competition of group singing and group dancing, exclusively for Sunday school children,
which will take place on Saturday, 24th January 2015 from 7.00 pm onwards in the school
hall. Entry is free, so kindly encourage your children to participate in large numbers.
8. Please look up the Notice Board/Banner for details regarding the following:
a) The Cardinal Ivan Dias Award for a research article in Mariology.
b) A Konkani Drama entitled ‘Stree’ will be held on Sunday, 11 th January, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
at Our Lady of Forsaken Church, Malwani Colony. Entry Fee is Rs. 50/- per person.
c) The Orlem East Indian Association is organizing its Annual Social on Saturday, 17th
January 2015. Coupons are available in the Church compound.

d) Citizen Credit Cooperative Bank invites you to a Symposium and the presentation of the
Annual Awards for Academic excellence on 20th January.
e) Admissions to the TTC Course and E.C.C.E. Course at St. Margaret’s Training College are
in Progress for the academic year, June 2015.
9. The First Death Anniversary mass will be celebrated during the week :
1) On Friday, for the s/o Alice D’souza at 7:00 p.m.

11. The Parish Father’s Team thanks the parishioners and those from other parishes for their
generous contributions at the New Year Midnight Mass and the Masses on New Year’s Day
which amounted to Rs.4, 42,575/- which is for Our Lady of Lourdes Church Trust.
12. We are also grateful to the First Holy Communicants for their ‘Love Offering’ which
amounted to Rs. 1, 08,196/-.
