He is a true friend. He loves us with a true, strong and loyal love. Jesus understands every problem and He will never fail us. It is not enough to know Him but we must enter into a friendship with Him. Let us turn to Jesus in all our sorrows, joys and in all our needs. Join Eucharistic Adoration and start a relationship with our Lord. In friendship with Jesus, we can do anything. Call 735-5761 for more information about Eucharistic Adoration. Please leave them in the basket provided by the center doors of the church. A LETTER FROM DEACON ZACHARY MILLER Dear Parishioners, The countdown has begun. As my last semester in the Seminary starts to unfold, I would like to take a moment to thank the parishes in which I have been active over the years. Each parish has taught me a lot about myself and about the Church. The Church isn't stagnant it is truly living and it lives by the people who make it up. Each individual parish has it’s own personality and I enjoyed my time at each place, learning about the personalities and the people who make up the Church. As I complete my last four months in the Seminary, I ask for your prayers. Over the past seven years, I have learned a lot about the power of prayer and how to draw into a deeper relationship with God. By opening ourselves up to God, He can do great things. I also ask for you to pray for Vocations to the Priesthood, Diaconate, Religious Life and for the people to open themselves up to the ministry within the Church as the faithful. The Church isn't one-sided, it takes many people to make the Word of God live in our hearts. As June 6th approaches and I start preparing for my Priesthood Ordination, be sure of my prayers as you have warmly welcomed me into your parish families. God Bless, Deacon Zach Miller WEEKLY COLLECTION The collection for the week of January 24 & 25 343 Envelopes….………………. $8,386.00 Electronic Giving….………………. $460.00 Plate…………………………… $1,791.05 Total……………………………… $10,637.05 Thank you for your continued support and generosity. page 4 CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF LOURDES, UTICA, N.Y.
