2015 MCS Aquatics Classes

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training
This course will certify you for a job as a lifeguard. Participants must be 15 years of age or
older before the class begins and must successfully pass 2 pre-tests (written and water) to
be eligible for this class. First Aid, AED and CPR for the Professional Rescuer will be taught.

April 17-19 (Registration deadline – April 10)
May 1-3 (Registration deadline – April 24)
Fridays ~ 5:00pm-10:00pm
Saturdays and Sundays~ 8:00am-6:00pm

American Red Cross Lifeguard Recertification
This course will recertify you for a job as a lifeguard. First Aid, AED and CPR for the

Water Safety Instruction (WSI)
This course will certify you to become a Water Safety Instructor. Participants must be 16
years of age or older prior to April 12 – bring proof of age to the first class. Participants
will be required to preview materials before the first class. Upon registration, participants
will be required to send $35 directly to the American Red Cross. More details to follow.
