St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner. On Tuesday, March 17, Meads Mill will continue the tradition of “The Wearing of the Green!” to support the animals at Maybury Farm. Remember, wear green on Tuesday and donate $1 to support the animals at Maybury Farm. We will also be selling green shamrock beads before school for $1. Thank you!! Congratulations to our Meads Mill Academic Games Teams! Ten of our 6th graders (seven from Meads and three from Hillside) did an amazing job at the 41st State Tournament in Grand Rapids. Our two teams played five games against 40 other teams from all over Michigan. The Pie Face team (Jeffrey Y., Oliver W., Ahmad R., Andy J.) are state champs in Propaganda, Equation, Onsets, and WFF. The Mockingjays team (Aarti S., Vaishvi S., Abhinav A.) are state champs in WFF, fifth in Propaganda, sixth in President, Division first in Onsets, and Division third in Equation. Great job everyone! The AG National tournament will be held in Orlando, Florida, April 24-27. NHS Middle School Cheer Clinic The NHS Cheer Program is offering a Stunt and Tumble Cheer Clinic for girls in grades 5 – 8. Clinic dates are March 16, 23 and 30, from 4:30 – 6:30 pm in the NHS Cafeteria. Registration at the door is $60. See the attached registration form for more information. Northville Middle School Pompon Tryouts Open to all girls attending Meads Mill or Hillside in Fall, 2015. No previous experience necessary. Middle School Hockey Camp - Northville Hockey Information Middle school camp - March 16 – 19 from 4:00 PM – 4:50 PM @ Novi Ice Arena March 20 - Middle school scrimmage from 6:00 PM – 7:20 PM @ Novi Ice Arena Boys Prep Tryout for both Orange and Black Teams - March 23, 24, and 26 - 3:30 pm at Suburban Ice Arena. Come dressed to play after school—bring snack and water WHY: To have fun and learn how to play volleyball & basketball. The purpose of this program is to introduce you to the sports.
