Mill River Resort has been the cornerstone of tourism in western
Prince Edward Island for over thirty years. The independent but
related activities of the Mill River Provincial Park, Rodd Mill River
Resort, Mill River Golf Course and the Fun Park comprise a mature
recreation and resort infrastructure valued at over $25 million
dollars. Despite the public and private investment and the success
to date at Mill River, there is considerable opportunity for growth.
This strategy provided direction for enhancements of the Mill River
assets and identifies priorities, infrastructure requirements,
budgets and operational initiatives that reflect the potential
tourism and residential traveler markets.
