EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
ASSOCIATION OF MINING RELATED COUNCILS
ENVIRONMENTAL EXPERT PANEL
The Association of Mining Related Councils of New South Wales (AMRC) is a body
representative of twenty three (23) local government authorities (councils) in NSW
that are affected by mining related activities.
The need exists for AMRC to compile a panel of suitable “environmental experts” for
AMRC and/or member councils to access for research, lobby, present papers and
assist with such matters as Voluntary Planning Agreements and local planning
associated with mining and coal seam gas developments.
The expertise sought must have experience and qualifications in all or any of the
following:
 Town planning;
 Environmental services;
 The sciences;
 Mining,
 Coal seam gas;
 Public policy development
and, to be able to provide the assistance needed from time to time.
