CLUBS AT LUNCH

 CSF POTENTIAL OFFICERS FOR NEXT YEAR: Please turn in your application before school is out on June 4! If you
are interested in running for office, come see Mrs. Jones for any application in room 208.
 ATTENTION NEXT YEAR'S ASB LEADERS: Our next mandatory meeting will be today during lunch in the career
center. The meeting will begin promptly at 12:30. Please arrive on time.
 HARVESTING HOPE is starting an official club here at Mission Oak! Our first meeting will be Friday, May 29 in room
110 and will begin at 1:00. We will discuss officer elections and goals for next year. Hope to see you there.
 ACADEMIC DECATHLON: Did you miss the meeting due to all of the Madness? We will be holding an encore
meeting this Friday at 1pm in room 607 for all those who were interested and couldn't attend this week. Stop to see Mrs.
Anthony with questions at any time!
 MOCK TRIAL: We will be having our end of the year awards lunch Wednesday, May 27th. Come to 608 at lunch for
pizza, drinks, fellowship, and recognition. See you there!
 RAWHIDE COMES TO VISIT Thursday, May 28. If you are a high school athlete and would like to join the guys for a Q
& A during 3rd period, see Mrs. Jones in room 208. Space is limited! Next year English 4AP students: Today's meeting
at lunch has been rescheduled for Tuesday immediately at the beginning of lunch in room 205.
 ATTENTION STUDENTS: If you signed up for the Iceland trip or are interested in going, there is a meeting on
Today at 6pm in the Career Center.
 LIBRARY BOOKS can only be returned during non-class time. Come by before school, after school, or during break or
lunch to turn in your library books. English class novels such as The Great Gatsby are accepted at that time as
well. All textbooks must be returned with your class. Ask your teachers for more information on when you will be
returning your textbooks.

FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH will be available for anyone under the age of 18 during Summer School at Mission
Oak.
 THE FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT will be hosting a food show for students on July 29, 2015. This food show will
allow students to try samples of food and provide input for planning future menus. To attend the food show students
must register at www.surveymonkey.com/s/studentfoodshow .
 ATTENTION ALL AP US HISTORY STUDENTS: There will be a mandatory meeting with Mr. Flores, Room 112 today
at lunch. If you do not attend you will be dropped from the class.
 JUNIORS: The prom committee meeting has been moved to Thursday during lunch in room 202. Lunch will be
provided.
 ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS: If you are between the ages of 16-18 and a member of CalWorks, TANF
or Welfare family you may qualify for the SEE work program. Please contact Steve @ 733-6730.
 ATTENTION SENIORS: There will be graduation practice tomorrow in the gym at 10:15. Do not report to class.
Go directly to the gym as attendance will be taken there.
 SENIOR HONORS ASSEMBLY will take place tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. in the gym. You must be in your cap and
gown. Parents, junior class and siblings are invited to attend.
 ALL SENIORS: If you did not get a chance to pick up your cap and gown, please stop by the front office and pick it up
from Mrs. Rebelo. Please remember that you will not be allowed to wear any cap or gown that has been
decorated. We encourage you to wear any academic pin or CSF chord that you may receive at the honors assembly
but, unfortunately, nothing else will be allowed to be worn on your cap, gown or stole.
Also, please remember that the senior honors assembly will be held on Wednesday, May 27 and we ask that you wear
your cap and gown. We will practice prior to the assembly from 10:15 -11:15 and the assembly will begin following our
practice
 ATTENTION SENIORS: Worried about last minute details preparing for Graduation?? Don't let prior school year fees
be one of those worries. A list is posted in front of both the Library and Attendance Office. Senior fees must be cleared
by 4:00 pm on June 2nd. If you are on this list or have questions see Mrs. Cabrera or any of the Library staff.
 ATTENTION SENIORS: The FINAL TRANSCRIPT REQUEST BINDER is now available and posted at the Counseling
Office window. If you are planning to attend a College or University in the fall you will need to input your information into
this binder to insure that your Final Transcript is submitted as we will be sending them throughout the month of June
following final posting of grades. See Mrs. Gomes or Mrs. McPhetridge in the Counseling Office if you have any
questions.
 SENIORS: Please be aware that the "20-day rule" is in effect. Student that violate education code relating to drug and
alcohol offenses will result in loss of privilege to participate in all school activities including, but not limited to graduation
ceremony, prom, grad night etc.
 SENIORS: All seniors are invited and encouraged to attend a Catholic mass in your honor at St. Aloysius Catholic
Church, at 125 E. Pleasant St. in Tulare, on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 11:15 a.m. Please gather in front of the
church by 10:50 a.m. wearing your cap and gown.
 SENIORS: All Graduating Seniors are invited and encouraged to attend this year’s Baccalaureate Service with
your parents and your families. The Baccalaureate Service is a celebration which honors graduates each
year. There will be a free gift for all Seniors in attendance. The celebration will be held Sunday, May 31st at 6
pm at the Tulare Assembly of God Church located at 316 S. Mooney Blvd. Please gather in front of the church
by 5:45 pm wearing your cap and gown. Congratulations!
 THE TRACK AND FIELD BANQUET is tomorrow night at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. Join us and have some ice cream
with your teammates and family.
 MISSION OAK SPORTS is in need of Girls Golf and both Boys & Girls Water Polo Players. If interested you can signup (name and phone #) in the Main Office with Mrs. Rebelo or the Athletic Director, Mr. Hildreth before school is
out. No experience is necessary and these are extremely fun sports.
 CROSS-COUNTRY RUNNERS: Come meet coaches Shanley, Aguayo and Taylor and sign up for next season. Meet
today at 12:30by the gym. Bring a friend!

running the snack bar, by Friday, May 22nd. At the end of May, we will draw the names for a club to run the snack bar for the
