sexual health education and risks of sexually
transmissible infections (STIs) and blood borne
viruses (BBV).
Topics can include:
• Puberty & menarche
• Menstrual cycle
• Ovulation & fertility
• Pregnancy & conception
• Contraception
• Safe sex
• STIs & BBVs
• STI & BBV screening
• Pap testing
• HPV vaccination
The project also supports Aboriginal health
workers to promote sexual and reproductive
health with young women.
Training sessions have been designed to give
workers the skills and knowledge in how to
run a Sacred Sistas activities workshop within
their own community.
