Description: The MPFSC Bridge Program is designed to help skaters slowly bridge the transition from LTS classes into private or semi-private lessons for the purposes of receiving individualized instruction and/or preparing for competitions. The skater has the benefit of using the entire ice surface and getting more individualized attention for his or her level of skating. LTS skaters may continue to take advantage of the Bridge Program until they pass Basic 8 and complete the current skating year, which ends on June 30. Then the skater must become a member of the MPFSC and may no longer take part in the Bridge Program. The cost covers a 60-minute session of ice on either Mondays, Thursdays, or both, which includes a 20-minute lesson with an instructor of your choice or one recommended by the LTS On-Ice Director. Please do the following to arrange for Bridge Program lessons: Email [email protected] or call Alyssa Wixson at 989-280-7961. Specify the night(s) of the week you would like your child to skate. Specify an instructor, if you have a preference, or one will be provided for you. If you had an instructor last season, they should be contacting you for lesson verification.
