It’s the capability of the head locking brake to hold the weight of the camera at any tilt or pan angles needed to lock the camcorder
in position.

It’s the capacity of the head to keep the camcorder from rolling forwards and backwards under its own weight when the head
is tilted, thanks to an internal system of springs. Manfrotto heads can be supplied with fixed (the spring is set to a specific
counterbalance weight) or variable (the spring can be changed or adjusted from a minimum to a maximum counterbalancing
value) counterbalance, depending on the model you choose. The value of the counterbalance capacity has been measured
considering a camera center of gravity of 125mm (from the plate) as standard reference.

It’s the system which allows you to have fluid friction for the head movement, in order to have an accurate camera control in
all conditions. The head drag can be fixed (constant friction action) or variable. The variable drag allows you to select the most
appropriate and desired level of drag depending on the camera load and the temperature while shooting.

Manfrotto video fluid heads cover a wide range of camera equipment, from the lighter HD Mini DV up to the professional ENG DV
and HDV camcorders.
Providing resistance to jarring and shake transmitted from the operator via the pan-bar, all heads include high-quality fluid
cartridges for smooth and constant movement, needed to achieve “shake free” images while panning and tilting during all types
of video shooting sessions.

The 526 Pro Video head directly addresses the heavy-duty, high-end ENG and EFP video market by
offering a feature-packed fluid video head. Large rubber padded knobs for better grip and all the controls
(tilt and pan lock, tilt drag) are located on the left side so they can be easily found. The 526 offers our
most precise fluid drag system comprised of three step settings for low, medium and high drag levels
(numbered 1, 2 and 3), plus the additional no-drag setting (number 0) for such occasions as snap-pans/tilts.
Counterbalance is achieved through an adjustable spring for camera weights between 17.6 and 33.1lb.

accommodating a counterbalance payload from 3.3lb up to 19.8lb.
Being the first in the market encompassing both interchangeable and adjustable counter-balance springs,
this revolutionary head allows to easily interchange a vast array of cameras of various weights as well as
quickly fine tune the perfect balance point of whatever camera and accessories being used.
In addition, the fluid drag is easily controlled with a large clickstop numbered knob in seven increments.

tripods offers extra torsion rigidity with the possibility to choose a ground or mid-level spreader. In addition to twin-tube tripods
Manfrotto offers a high-performing, compact, lightweight, sturdy and reliable single-tube technology tripod range, able to arrive

The 523PRO remote control works with both Sony and Canon LANC-enabled video cameras. The remote control features a
record/stop button, a power on/standby button, three different zoom speed control buttons (slow, medium and fast) and a push
auto focus button. The zoom wheel can be used to control one of the three preset, maximum zoom speeds or a customizable
maximum speed which you can set to exactly the level you want. For all zoom speeds you can choose between progressive
zoom speed (the further you rotate the zoom wheel, the faster the zoom) or fixed zoom speed (irrespective of the rotation
applied to the wheel, zoom speed remains constant) by pressing the button once (progressive) or twice (fixed). The LED shows
you which speed you have selected.
To set a “custom” zoom speed, simply use the wheel to set your speed and hold the zoom speed button until the LED flashes.
The setting remains in the unit’s memory until you decide to change it. Whether you choose a limited progressive zoom range
or a single fixed speed, the features of the 523PRO mean you can easily repeat zooms precisely in subsequent takes of the
same shot. The 523PRO also allows you to set left- and right-handed operation by changing zoom wheel direction.
The push auto focus button makes it very easy to achieve in focus images when working in manual focus mode. You can also
use the manual focus in and out buttons and change the focus direction. 523PRO does not come with any parts to fit to the
head, but instead utilizes the pan bar clamp that comes with all Manfrotto heads.

The 522P is a dual circuit, progressive zoom remote control unit for the Panasonic AG-DVC80, AG-DVX100A/E/B, AG-DVX100BE
and AG-HVX200. Built into a video head pan bar suitable for Manfrotto head models 501HDV, 503HDV, 516, 519 and 526.
The dual circuit allows you to choose between a zero power consumption “analog” mode for basic functions (record/stop and
progressive min-max zoom via a professional zoom wheel) and a 3 AA (1.5 volt) battery-powered, advanced, customizable
“digital” mode. The digital mode gives you the record/stop function, and the zoom wheel can be used to control one of
three preset maximum zoom speeds or a customisable maximum speed which you can set to exactly the level you want.
The “custom” zoom speed setting remains in the unit’s memory even when batteries run down, until you decide to change it.
In addition, for all options except the slowest preset speed, you can choose between progressive zoom speed (the further
you rotate the zoom wheel, the faster the zoom) and fixed zoom speed (irrespective of the rotation applied to the wheel, zoom
speed remains constant) by pressing the button once (progressive) or twice (fixed). An LED shows you which speed you have
selected. The 522P also allows you to set left- or right handed operation by changing zoom wheel direction. 522P does not
come with any parts to fit to the head, but instead utilizes the pan bar clamp that comes with all Manfrotto heads.

A quick and easy accessory for carrying your tripod when walking, hiking, cycling or just getting from shoot to shoot. Use the shorter straps to fasten the padded 401N
to one of the legs of your tripod, bind the remaining legs together using the longer adjustable quick release straps, sliding the tripod over your shoulder and you’re
ready to go, with your hands free to grab those vital last minute items. The padding helps hold the tripod in place and protects your back from bruises and chaffing.
