Responding to incoming calls to the NYS Smoker’s Quitline (NYSSQL) providing motivating
cessation coaching, conducting screening for nicotine patch eligibility & providing resources and
materials to smokers trying to quit. The SCA will also service calls from health professionals,

appropriate materials and information in response to inquiries related to smoking cessation. The

We're looking for a hands on technician to ensure that our national customers' IT support needs
are met in a timely and efficient manner. Tasks range from desktop support to troubleshooting
connectivity issues, application assistance, server work and more. This is a Level 1 position

As an IT Help Desk Agent you will: Answer incoming client technical support requests from via

Analyze and diagnose pc, desktop, laptop, hardware, server and VoIP issues that are reported.
Work with users to determine root cause, including remote control of machines. Log all details
of client interactions including problems reported by the user, steps taken to diagnose, and
what actions resolved the ticket. Prioritize tickets and escalate to Engineers as needed.
Manage IT emergency trouble tickets and follow procedures to ensure customer needs are met
according to the IT Service Level Agreements. Set up new users and PCs on multiple domains.
Manage user Active Directory accounts. Assist with server and pc hardware maintenance, i.e.,
patches, updates, repairs. Set up Cisco phones, troubleshoot user connectivity, configure new
accounts.
Qualifications: Experience in the following is required: 1-2 years of hands on IT Help Desk or
Technical Support in either a high volume corporate setting or call center environment.
Advanced troubleshooting skills in MS Office 2003, 2007, Windows XP and Vista operating
systems. Strong problem solving capabilities. Familiar with Dell Hardware, laptops and has
desktops, break/fix capabilities. Cisco phone experience is a plus. Exposure to Active Directory
account management.
