Sealed documents are invited from suppliers / traders dealing in jute trading for
empanelment for supply of jute. The same may be sent by post or dropped in the
tender box located at the given above address on or before the closing date and time
indicated in this notice.
Last Date of Submission of Expression of Interest (EOI):
On or before 26/03/2015 within 2:00 pm in the Corporate office of NJMC Limited.
Any changes / modification (addendum, corrigendum) in the Tender document will be
uploaded in NJMC Ltd’s Official Website: www.njmc.gov.in

ANNEXURE-I
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE SUPPLIERS/TRADERS.
1. Interested parties may obtain further information about this requirement during Pre –
Empanelment meet from the above office.
2. Invitation to E.O.I. document to be downloaded from the website.
3.Applicants will ensure that their EOI, duly sealed and signed, complete in all respects as per
instructions contained in the invitation to E.O.I. documents, are dropped in the tender box
located at the address given above on or before the closing date indicated above, failing
which the documents will be treated as late and rejected.
4.The applicant is to seal the Application for Empanelment in envelope. EOI for
empanelment should be super scribed on the sealed envelope EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
FOR EMPANELMENT OF SUPPLIERS/TRADERS FOR SUPPLY OF JUTE TO NJMC.
5. National Jute Manufactures Corporation Ltd. is not responsible for transit (postal/courier)
delays of EOI documents.
6. All empanelled suppliers/traders will be allocated unique registration number.
7. The EOI documents are not transferable.
8. The validity period of empanelment will be 2 (two) years from the last date of submission
and their performance will be reviewed quarterly or as per requirement. NJMC Ltd. reserves
the right to extend the empanelment for renewal after completion of the initial empanelment.
9. Suppliers/traders who do not meet / comply evaluation criteria as per Annexure II of this
document will be eliminated from the empanelment list.
10. New Suppliers/traders may be added to the empanelment at any point, during the validity
of the Panel which NJMC Ltd. would consider as per its Policy/requirement.
11. The firm should not have been blacklisted /debarred for dealing by Government of India
or any State Govt. in any manner and a self declaration should be submitted along with the
bid to this effect.
12. Participants should furnish the names of the jute mills where they are regular suppliers.
13. Pre – Empanelment Clarification meet will be held on 18.03.2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the
office of NJMC Ltd. to provide clarification if necessary.
14. National Jute Manufactures Corporation Limited reserve the right to accept or reject any
or all of proposals / tender either in part or as a whole summarily without assigning any
reason whatsoever.

The application of suppliers/traders for empanelment will be evaluated based on their
credentials and the documents to be submitted as per Annexure – II and the decision of
NJMC’s management will be final and binding in this regard.
