Entry times (long or short course) must have been swum at a Swimming NSW approved meet since 1 April 2014.

Conditions of Entry
Meet is approved by the South Eastern Swimming Association (SESA) and
Swimming NSW (SNSW).
Meet will be conducted under the rules of Swimming Australia (SAL) and SNSW.
Results will be submitted to SNSW and uploaded to SAL ResultsCentral.
Events will be conducted as timed finals. Events may be conducted as mixed-gender
and/or combined age groups.
Entries close 5:00pm Wednesday 13 May 2015. Late entries will not be accepted.
Relay entries not accepted at the meet.
Individual events: online entries only. Entry fee $5.00 per event. Online entries via the
SESA website, www.southeasternnsw.swimming.org.au
Relay events: entries by TM/MM. Entry fee $15.00 per relay team. Download file from the
SESA website.
Payments by EFT or cheque payable to “South Eastern Swimming Association”.
Entry fees payable by 23 May 2015.

The Meet director reserves the right to amend the program and conditions of entry
as required.
Pool entry fees may be levied by the pool operator for competitors, coaches and spectators.
SESA Winter 2015 Area Championships Conditions of Entry
9. Age as at 23 May 2015.
10. Individual events:
Eligibility: Members may compete in an event if they have met the qualifying times.
Entry times must have been swum since 1 April 2014 at an approved SNSW meet.
Short or long course entry times will be accepted. All Club Race Secretaries should
ensure that SESA Rules are adhered to for the Area Championships.
Awards: Medals will be presented as follows:
50m and 100m events (except 100m Individual Medley): First, Second and Third place
getters in the age groups: 8 years/under, 9 years, 10 years, 11 years, 12 years, 13 years,
14 years, 15 years/over, and Open Multi Class.
100m Individual Medley: First, Second and Third place getters in the age groups:
10 years/under, 11-12 years, 13-14 years, and 15 years/over.
200m, 400m, 800m, and 1500m events: First, Second and Third place getters.
Ribbons shall be awarded in all events up to Eighth place.
Points and Age Champions: Points will be awarded to competitors as per SESA By-law 31
South Eastern Swimming Association Premiership. Age Champions will be decided by points
accrued in Age events and any Open events that have not been duplicated in Age events.
Age groups consist of 8 years/under, 9 years, 10 years, 11 years, 12 years, 13 years, 14 years,
15 years/over, and Open Multi Class, and will be awarded to both male and female winners.
Club Premiership: Awarded to the SESA club that accumulates the highest number of points
from individual events only.

11. Relay events:
Teams: There is no restriction on the number of teams a club may enter in a relay event;
however, teams must meet the rules in SESA By-Law 29 Relay Events which permit
(i) a maximum of one swimmer from a younger age group may participate in a team and
(ii) a swimmer may only appear in one relay team list.
Awards: Medals will be award to First, Second and Third place teams.
Points and Relay Champions: The top two placed teams from each club in each relay
event will be awarded points as per SESA By-law 31 South Eastern Swimming Association
Premiership.
Relay Premiership: Awarded to the SESA club that accumulates the highest number of
points from relay events only.
Relay Forms: Must be submitted to the Recorder prior to the commencement of the session
in which the relay is to be swum REGARDLESS of whether the club submitted entries by the
closing date. Failure to submit relay forms will result in the Team being WITHDRAWN from the
event. Relay forms are available from the SESA website and from the Recorder at the meet.
12. SESA members aged 8-13 years that enter the Area Championship 50m events (see Clause 13)
will be automatically entered into the Winter Sprint Heats and will be eligible for a place in
the SNSW Top 10.
2015 Winter Sprint Heats Conditions of Entry
13. The SESA Winter Sprint Heats are conducted in conjunction with the Area Championships.
14. The Winter Sprint events are 50m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, 50m Breaststroke and
50m Butterfly in the age groups 8 years, 9 years, 10 years, 11 years, 12 years and 13 years.
15. For eligibility for the Swimming NSW Winter Sprint Top 10 a competitor’s age will be
2 May 2015. Please note competitors will swim the Heat event in their age group as per
Clause 9.
16. State medal winners in the 2014-2015 Summer season are ineligible for the SNSW Winter
Sprints in that stroke. State medals winners are eligible to contest the Area Championships.
17. Swimmers are not required to meet the qualifying times to enter the Winter Sprints.
18. Swimmers do not need to be registered with a club to compete in the Heats. However
registration is a requirement to score points and receive awards presented by SNSW
and SESA.
19. Winter Sprint Heat Ribbons will NOT be handed out at the SESA Championships. Ribbons will
be forwarded to clubs for distrubtion to club members by 30 May 2015.
