will be made on Saturday, May 2, 2015 and orders need to be

is $6.00 and pick up time is 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on that
date. We will be baking for the feast day too.

Every week we post Special Birthday wishes for all our parishioners here in the bulletin. If I have missed anyone’s special day, please let me know. I especially like to recognize anyone who may be in Nursing Homes. I would be glad to mail a
bulletin to all our shut-ins. Please let me know if there is any
persons not able to come to church. With this being said, you
all know Josephine Bullano who volunteered her time here as
our secretary ( a tough shoe to fill). She is in Greenbriar
Nursing Home and her 87th birthday is on May 4th. If you
are able to visit Josephine or just mail her a card, she would
be so appreciative. The address is Greenbriar Heathcare Center, Room 223 B, 8064 South Ave., Youngstown, Ohio 44512.

homebound parishioners. If you are aware of anyone who is homebound
and in need or desire of our support, please contact the parish office.

Focus: A Foolish Shepherd?
True leaders, “good shepherds”, are those who seek not their
own well-being and flourishing, but the well-being and flourishing of those who are entrusted to their care.
Acts 4: 8-12

Good Shepherd, fill our hearts with gratitude for the love
you have shown us in laying down your life for us. Help us to
follow you by our willingness to lay down our lives for others.
With little over six weeks until the feast of St. Anthony of Padua,
I am again looking for items or baskets for the Italian Auction
that we host on that day. If anyone has a business, patronizes a
special place weekly, see if they would be willing to donate
something for this project. Any little thing can be added to make
up a nice basket to be raffled off. A great door prize idea is to
make up a tree of area restaurants gift cards or maybe a lottery
tree. Purchase a gift card to add to the tree. You can even put
your own name on the card as its donor.

NIGHT TO HONOR MARY
A night to Honor Mary will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 at
7:00p.m. at Saint Columba Cathedral, Youngstown, and on
Friday, May 22, 2015 at 7:00p.m. at Saint Michael the
Archangel Parish, Canton. The Most Reverend George V.
Murry, S.J., Bishop of Youngstown, will preside at both of
these devotional services to honor Our Blessed Mother. All
are invited to attend the service that will include scripture
readings, a homily, hymns, and recitation of the rosary.
