Career-driven and goal oriented activities that give students real-world experience and
knowledge in the world of media

Sample activities include:
o
Tour of college media center including a Q&A with college admissions and current
students in the field of media
o
Daily interactions and presentations with Emmy Award-Winning producers,
directors and other member of the PBS39 staff
o
Trip to the CareerLinking Academy to create a resume and sharpen other skills for
entrance into the world of work

o
Creation of a student specific career template
o
Final Project: Each student will create a video resume to add to their portfolio
