EIGHTH GRADE “GRADVENTURE” TRIP

This year the exciting 8th grade field trip and grad party will be at Universal Studios in Orlando. This “Gradventure” trip will
include transportation on a charter coach bus, an SMS t-shirt, admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, and
a dinner voucher. Tickets will go on sale starting February 23, before school in the 8th grade office. The price for tickets is
$90.00 (CASH and CHECK ONLY). Please return the completed permission form (both sides) and money to Mrs. Lurie.
Tickets will be sold until March 6th or until the trip is sold out, whichever comes first. Students may only purchase one ticket
per person. Tickets will be given to students the day of the trip (May 8th). Students must attend school on May 8, 2015, as
a normal school day in order to take part in the trip. Seminole Middle School administrators, teachers, and staff will
chaperone this event. This trip is for 8th grade students only. No other grade level or outside guests will be permitted to
attend.
We will depart Seminole Middle School at 2:00PM on May 8, 2015, and should arrive at Universal Orlando at 4:15PM. Both
parks will be closed to the general public and will only be allowing 8th grade “Gradventure” students in. We will be departing
Universal Orland at approximately 12:00AM, and should arrive back at SMS by approximately 1:45AM.
In order to be eligible to participate in the 8th grade “Gradventure” trip, the following restrictions are in effect from March 1,
2015, until the day/time of departure (May 8th): No major referrals resulting in 2 or more days of ISS or suspension.
Additionally, students may not be failing any course during the second semester. If a student violates this policy after you
purchase a ticket, you will NOT ATTEND THE TRIP OR RECEIVE A REFUND.
