country.
Weather Next 24 hrs: Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the

Significant Weather Update: Rain may be accompanied by windstorm
and isolated heavy falls in (Malakand, Mardan Peshawar, Hazara divisions)
during Saturday/Sunday. Heavy downpours may trigger flash flood in
Malakand, Hazara and Mardan divisions and landslides in the vulnerable
areas of Upper KP during Saturday/Sunday.

Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.
Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in plains areas of the country

However, rain-thundershower associated with gusty winds is expected
at scattered places in FATA, upper KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar,
Mardan divisions).
Rain-thundershower is expected at scattered places in Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa, FATA.
Rain-thundershower is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan divisions).
Rain-thunderstorm is expected at scattered places in upper KP ,

Met office predicted more rainthundershowers in the country from
coming weekend, such unusual rains may
continue with intervals over upper parts
of the country during next week. First
spell of rain-thundershowers is expected
at scattered places of Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa,FATA,on Saturday/Sunday.
The other spell of rain-thundershowers
over the same areas of the country is
predicted during the next week.
Special Focus
Wide spread rain with thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds at times, is
expected in KP on Saturday & Sunday (28th & 29th of March, 2015).
During the period heavy downpours at times, may generate flash floods in vulnerable
areas of Mansehra, Kohistan, Abbotabad, Mardan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Kohat,
Malakand, Swat, Dir Upper and Dir Lower districts.
District Administrations in KP are requested to be on highly alert and focus on
vulnerable areas of their respective districts. They are further requested to take
necessary measures to avoid any loss of lives and damage to public as well as
private property.
