Prizes will be awarded on the basis of the official ‘gun times’ in accordance with UKA Rules of Competition and the Event Rules
Veterans are eligible for open individual prizes.
Runners will only be awarded one individual prize of the highest prize value.
Cash prizes will be in the form of a written cheque only.
Where open prizes are won by veterans, the first veteran to finish in each age category who has not already qualified for an open prize
will receive the age group prize.
Should there be any doubt of discrepancies of the results, then the Ramathon organisers reserve the right to withhold awarding a prize
until the results become official (up to 14 days after the race).
All prize winners will be displayed on the event website within 14 days of the race.
Age on race day determines age category entitlement.
Awards in the Affiliated Team category apply to UKA affiliated clubs and will be calculated on cumulative time (not finishing place).
Awards in the Business Team Run category will be calculated on cumulative time (not finishing place) of the top 3 out of 4 finishers for
that business team.
There can only be a maximum of 2 UKA affiliated club runners per Business Team. Business Team’s who declare more than 2 UKA
Affiliated Club members will not be eligible for a team prize.
The Highest Fundraiser prize for the Half Marathon will be awarded to the person who fundraisers the most money for Macmillan Cancer
Support up until one full calendar month after the race day – to be managed by the Macmillan Cancer Support and co-ordinated by the
Ramathon organisers.
The Highest Fundraiser prize for the Mini Ramathon will be awarded to the person who fundraisers the most money for Rainbows Hospice
up until one full calendar month after the race day – to be managed by Rainbows Hospice and co-ordinated by the Ramathon organisers.
All prizes and categories listed are subject to amendment.
Prizes will only be awarded based on the information submitted through the formal entry process. If runners have failed to supply any
information relevant to the prize awards, then the data will not be included in the results after the race and they will not receive the
relevant prize that could have been eligible for. It is the runners’ responsibility to ensure their entrant data is submitted accurately.
Any runner falsely claiming a prize through their entry data, by claiming to be someone else, or by any other fraudulent method will result
in the prize being withdrawn from them and the runner may be reported to UK Athletics.
All appeals and correspondence to be addressed to the Race Director. The decision of the Race Referee shall be final.
