The Rotary Club of Canmore is one of more than

Our 80 members are part of the 1.2 million

of busness, professional and community
leaders volunteering their time and talents
to serve their communities.
Financial and volunteer support to local and
global community groups has been a hallmark
of the Club.
The Rotary Club of Canmore has raised millions
of dollars over the past 25 years to support
a wide variety of local projects which
contribute to the quality of life and living
in the Bow Valley as well as helping
internationally
in
the
areas
of
basic
education, literacy, disease prevention &
treatment, maternal & child health, water &
sanitation, peace & conflict prevention and
resolution as well as economic and community
development.
Each year the Rotary Club of Camore provides
awards and scholarshipto deserving local
students
recognizing
their
outstanding
achievement in citizenship as well as
academic, vocational and artistic pursuits.
As the major sponsor of the Canadian
Rockies Rotary Science Fair, Rotary encourages
young people to excel in the sciences.
The Club participates in Rotary Youth Exchanges
each year with local high school students spending a year in another country and an international student spending a year in Canmore.
The Club founded the popular “Build a Better
Business - Learn at Lunch” series which targets
issues of interest to businesses in the Bow
Valley.
While supporting many other community
activities the Club has undertaken a number of
larger projects which provide different needs
towards services and facilities in the Bow Valley.
Some of these include:
