Intentional Interim Minister
Volume 27 Issue 18
The church voted to call Layne Smith as our Intentional Interim Minister. Layne will start on July 1st. As
the Intentional Interim Minister, he will guide the Transition Team as the team leads the church through
the Intentional Interim process. Layne will preach on Sundays, lead Wednesday services and provide
pastoral care for the RLBC family. Please extend a warm Royal Lane welcome to Layne and his wife
Diane.

John Stuart, whose work appears frequently on the
Order of Worship, is the Pastor at Erin
Presbyterian Church, Knoxville, TN. A native of
Scotland, he and his wife Evelyn became US
citizens in the spring of 2001. John grew up in
Glasgow, Scotland, and served several small
churches for nine years in S.W. Scotland before
accepting the call to Erin. He is an honors graduate
of Glasgow University.
