We will continue to collect aluminium cans and the used vehicle batteries which can be droped off in the collection box at Farview Tyres. Miss Watchirs arranged interviews for the families in her class at the end of last term. While Mrs Neilsen, Mrs Landrigan and myself did not request interviews, we are more than happy to have interviews upon request. Teachers welcome meeting their students' parents. Making an effort to do this will help the teacher better understand you, your child, and how you will support the education of your child. Teachers appreciate knowing that parents are concerned and interested in their child's progress. And, this helps open the lines of communication. NAPLAN Information Session for Parents Mrs Neilsen and I will be holding a parent information session Tues 5th May from 3-3:30 in the Year 4-5-6 room. 2015 NAPLAN Testing for students in Years 3 & 5 will be May 1214th. At the moment we have a couple of items of clothing which no–one appears to own. If your child is missing a grey pullover or a blue zip jacket please see Mrs Lutz to claim them. Any future unclaimed items will be donated to charity at the end of the term. Congratulations to Michael and Hayden who recently celebrated their birthdays . HATS Their have been a number of children who cannot find their hats. Sometimes pen will wash off hats after a number of wears, so please check if this is the case or use a fabric pen so alleviate this problem. Hats are supposed to remain at school for use there however if they do go home for washing please ensure that they return with your child. Can You Solve It??
