In the context of EU IPA Regulation and Transport

In the context of EU IPA Regulation and Transport Operational Programme (TOP),
it is crucial to strengthen the institutional, technical and administrative capacity at
the central and regional level in line with EU policies and rules.
Under TOP, which was prepared by the Ministy of Transport, it is aimed to realise
railway and port infrastructure projects to be co-financed by EU IPA (Instrument for
Pre-Accession) funds.
The purpose of the project is assisting the Ministry of Transport to overcome its lack
of experience in managing EU funds to improve its necessary administrative,
technical and human resources capacity to ensure successful implementation of
TOP. The project budget is 5,3 million Euros and duration is 5 years.

TA for Strengthening the Capacities of MoT IPA unit and EndRecipients in Turkey
Within the framework of the project, Grontmij has team of local and international experts working at
the Ministry of Transport, in close contact with the main desicion makers in the transportation
sector. The project facilitates building Grontmij’s relations with both the Ministry and the EndRecipients.
Grontmij, as the consultant carries out the following services within the scope
of the project:
Provision of inputs, review, assessment
and checking the outputs of preparatory
work for future project pipeline,

Construction of Filyos Port –
Phase 1 (approx. € 400
