June 2016
Dear Residents,
I can’t express enough how much I enjoyed seeing all
of our beautiful mothers and their guests at our
Mother’s Day celebration! Although a very intimate
group, we sure had a great time!!! As the calendar
turns, we celebrate the amazing men in our lives, our
dads!!! Our Father’s Day luncheon will be on June 11th
– so mark your calendars!!! We hope to see you there!
In addition to celebrating our dads, we’ll also be
celebrating the kickoff to the summer season with an
ice cream float social on June 6th...it’s always a good
time, and who needs an excuse for ice cream anyway?
Adams Place will be hosting a “Wake Up To What’s
Up” speaker event on the 7th for anyone interested in
finding out more about the resources available to you
as you mature gracefully. We will host a panel of
experts in the fields of elder law, home care,
rehabilitation, making a transition, organization,
de-cluttering and downsizing, and selling one’s home.
Our guests will also hear from our very own Nancy
Dunn on the benefits of elegant retirement living. If
you’re interested or know anyone who might benefit
from the casual Q&A, please let us know and we’ll get
them an invitation.
Crystal has lots of fun stuff planned for June – so be
sure to watch your calendars and watch for invitations;
you won’t want to miss out on any of the fun!!!
Happy Father’s Day!!!!
Love,
Jenny
