common theme is one of being
carried along by the calendar.
But it is possible to weave the
‘meaningful’ in between the
‘everyday stuff’ of carpools
and play dates. You can have
a sense of living life together,
not just doing life. The key?
Capitalizing on birthdays and
other regularly occurring events
as opportunities to make and
live your bucket lists.
Consider these three ways your
family can seize opportunities to
live a meaningful goal-oriented
life:

members rely on the support of one another
to accomplish new goals and share in the
overall experience, the bonding that occurs is
powerful.

your back-to-school tradition. Talk about new
skills learned, new places visited and any other
experiences of note from the summer. Share the
