Overview:
Ivrit B’Ivrit is a Congregation Shaarie Torah secular pilot program for children ages 5-7 (entering Kindergarten – Second grade). Children will be
immersed in the Israeli culture, Jewish holidays and the Hebrew language through reading, writing, storytelling, games and songs. The program
is appropriate for Hebrew speaking children.
Dates & Times:
Semester One: September 9th – December 16th
Semester Two: January 6th – March 17th
Semester Three: March 31st – June 9th
*All classes will be held on Wednesdays between 4:30-6:00pm
Location:
All classes will be held at Congregation Shaarie Torah Synagogue, 920 NW 25th Ave Portland OR 97210
Registration & Tuition:
Registration for the entire year (3 semesters) – payment in 3 equal installments paid at the beginning of the year
September 1st, October 1st, November 2nd ($230 per installment)
Register by semester – payment at the beginning of each semester ($260 per semester)
*40 registration and supplies fee will be collected during registration
The fee will apply regardless of how long the child is registered and will be refunded in case the class does not open due to lack of enrollment
*Tuition includes cost of books and a light gluten free snack
*Minimum of 7 participants will be required for each semester to open
Last date of registration – August 14th, 2015
