FTTO som koncept har eksisteret i mange år. Som udgangspunkt baseres løsningen på en
intelligent kombination af fiber og kobber, hvor fiber anvendes i et mix med kobber som interface mod brugeren. Dette gør, at løsningen er både fremtidssikret men også meget økonomisk i forhold til de traditionelle netværksløsninger baseret på PDS kabling.
Et fiberoptisk netværk tillader endvidere en hurtig omstilling og implementering af nye teknologier og er fremtidssikret, så kablingsinfrastrukturen bibeholdes, og der ikke skal skiftes
kabler, ændres eller ombygges X-felter.

Fibermodulboks bruges ved montage i installationskanal, WIS stander, gulvbokse mm. Boksen
fikserer din fiberswitch i kanalen og du afslutter installationen med et lågudsnit, hvor kun
fiberswitchen stikker gennem låget. 230 volt power til switch monteres direkte i fibermodul
og afdækkes af det færdige lågudsnit.

Splidseboks
Splidseboks bruges, når der er behov for at splidse fiber i en installationskanal. Ved brug af
boksen holder du dine splidsninger i en dåse, der ikke optager mere plads i installationskanalen end de allerede installerede 230 volt stikkontakter. Den færdige splidsning bliver til
slut lukket med en dækplade, således at din fiberinstallation er godt beskyttet, også selv om
kanallåget demonteres ved en eventuel udvidelse af installationen.
