Mounting Instructions
Programming the keypad



Enter  1-2-3-4 
The keypad enters programming mode, the red
LED flashes.
If no further information is added, the unit will
revert to normal operation after a 12 second
delay. To exit programming press #.

Drill mounting holes using template provided.
Connect keypad using WIRING DESCRIPTION
For 12VDC inductive loads such as electric
strikes and electromagnetic locks, the enclosed
varistor must be connected in parallel with the
load, at the load terminals and not in the keypad.
Ensure power supply is of correct rating, taking
into account the current requirements of the
locking items and accessories.
DO NOT insert security plugs into
fixing holes until all installation and
testing has been completed!

Enter the master code [1 2 3 4 #]
The Door Relay changes its contacts for 5 sec

The Green LED will light up for 5 sec. Repeat
this step 2,3 times
If the master code is wrongly typed in, the Red
LED lights up for 3 sec. re-enter the Code as
soon as the LED goes OFF

There are eight programming options
Change the factory set master code when you
program your unit for use. There is no way to
recover the new master code if it is lost or
forgotten.the unit can be reset to factory presets
and customised again.
Initialization
Apply power to the keypad
The keypad’s buzzer will sound briefly, the red LED
will illuminate briefly. Initialisation is now complete,
with a default master code of 1-2-3-4 and a 5-second
open door
To set a new user code
Prior to inputting user codes, complete the code
record sheet at the end of this manual.
1. Enter ** master code **
The keypad enters programming mode, the red
LED flashes.
2. Enter 2
The red LED illuminates for 2 seconds and then
flashes.
3. Enter address of new user code
i.e. 001 (001-200 accepted).
4. Enter #
The red LED illuminates for 2 seconds and then
flashes.
5. Enter new 4-8 digit user code
This is the new user code, record the number
and keep it safe.
6. Enter #
The red LED illuminates for 2 seconds and then
flashes.
7. Re-enter the new 4-8 digit user code
8. Enter #
The new code is added, to add new codes
continue from second step, changing the address
each time.
When finished enter an additional # to exit
programming mode.
Example
To set a new user code of 6626 in address 1
Enter **master code** 2 001# 6626# 6626# # .
To remove an individual user code
Only the user codes addresses are removable, the
master code may be changed but not removed.
1. Enter ** master code **
The keypad enters programming mode, the red
LED flashes.
2. Enter 3
The red LED illuminates for 2 seconds and then
flashes.
3. Enter address of user code to be removed
i.e. 001 (001-200 accepted).
4. Enter #
The red LED illuminates for 2 seconds and then
flashes.
5. Re-enter address of user code to be removed
i.e. 001 (001-200 accepted)
6. Enter #
The red LED illuminates for 2 seconds and then
flashes, the code is removed.
7. Enter #
Exit the programming mode.
To remove all user codes
1. Enter ** master code **
The keypad enters programming mode, the red
LED flashes.
2. Enter 4
The red LED illuminates for 2 seconds and then
flashes.
3. Enter master code
4. Enter #
The red LED illuminates for 2 seconds and then
flashes. All code addresses are removed.
5. Enter #
Exit the programming mode.
To set door opening time
1. Enter ** master code **
The keypad enters programming mode, the red
LED flashes.
2. Enter 1
The red LED illuminates for 2 seconds and then
flashes
3. Enter door open time
(01-99) 05 = 5 seconds.

The relay is set to latching mode.

To set remote door opening time
1. Enter ** master code **
The keypad enters programming mode, the red
LED flashes.
2. Enter 5
The red LED illuminates for 2 seconds and then
flashes.
3. Enter door opening time
(01-99) 05 = 5 seconds.
4. Enter #
The red LED illuminates for 2 seconds and then
flashes. All code addresses are removed.
5. Enter #
Exit the programming mode.
To set remote to latch mode (On-Off)
1. Enter ** master code **
The keypad enters programming mode, the red
LED flashes.
2. Enter 5
The red LED illuminates for 2 seconds and then
flashes.
3. Enter 0 0
4. Enter #
The red LED illuminates for 2 seconds and then
flashes. All code addresses are removed.
5. Enter #
The relay is set to latching mode.
Troubleshooting
The keypad does not “respond” when activating
the keys.
3. Make sure the electronic unit has been properly
wired to the mains and the power has not been
cut-off.
The keypad “responds” but the door does not
open
1. Make sure the green LED is light up.
2. If not the entered code has not been
programmed yet. Please refer to “Programming”.
3. Enter the Master Code and make sure the door
opens correctly. If not check the wiring and the
Strike’s integrity

Operating the keypad
1. Enter user code #
The relay operates and green LED illuminates
If three incorrect attempts are made to enter a
user code, the keypad will lock out for 30
seconds.
Data reset
In the event that programming administration is
lost, or errors have been made in the
programming, it is possible to set the keypad
master code back to the factory default.
1. Power up the unit
During the first 3 sec. The Red LED is ON.
2. Enter ** 1234# during the 3 seconds
The unit will sound 3 times and the Data will be
restored as follows.
Factory default settings
 Master Code: 1234
 User Code 567890 (please erase this code at
address 200)
 Door opening time: 5 seconds

Johdanto
Ohjelmointi
Tässä teknisessä ohjeessa on kuvattu K40koodilukon asentaminen, ohjelmointi sekä
päivittäinen käyttö.
Muista vaihtaa ohjelmointikoodi haluamaksesi ja
säilytä valitsemasi ohjelmointikoodi varmassa
tallessa. Mikäli unohdat ohjelmointikoodin, laite on
palautettava tehdasasetuksiinsa ja samalla kaikki
ohjelmoidut tiedot katoavat.
Muista myös, että jokainen kulkukoodi päättyy #merkkiin.
LED-merkkivalo
Laitteen käyttö
Käyttäjät käyttävät laitetta näppäilemällä 4 – 8
merkkisen kulkukoodinsa, jokainen kulkukoodi
päättyy # merkkiin.
Oikean koodin jälkeen lukko aukeaa määritetyksi
ajaksi ja laitteen LED palaa vihreänä aukiohjausajan.
Väärän koodin yhteydessä LED palaa punaisena 3
sekuntia. Mikäli väärä koodi on syötetty 3 kertaa
peräkkäin, laite lukkiutuu 30 sekunniksi ja samalla
LED vilkkuu hitaasti punaisena.
K40:n asentaminen
Asenna K40 noin 120 -140 cm:n korkeudelle
(maasta/lattiasta laitteen alareunaan).
Palvellakseen liikuntaesteisiä, sopiva
asennuskorkeus on noin 95 cm.
1. Kiinnitä laite kahdella ruuvilla
HUOM! Asenna ruuvien suojatulpat vasta, kun
olet suorittanut kaikki muut asennus- ja
käyttöönottotoimenpiteet sekä testannut laitteen
toiminnan. Suojatulppia ei saa ehjänä irti, ne
täytyy irroittaa poraamalla.
2. Tee kytkennät alla olevan kytkentäohjeen
mukaisesti. Muista kytkeä myös laitteen mukana
toimitettu ylijännitesuoja mahdollisimman lähelle
sähkövastalevyä tai lukkoa.
3. Kytke laitteeseen jännite, samalla laitteen
summeri soi ja LED palaa punaisena vähän
aikaa.


LED vilkkuu hitaasti: Laite on ohjelmointitilassa.
LED vilkkuu nopeasti: Ohjelmointi kesken.

LED vilkkuu erittäin nopeasti: Kaikkien koodien
poistaminen kesken.
Huom! Mikäli ohjelmointitilassa ei tehdä mitään 12
sekuntiin, laite palautuu normaalitilaan.
Ohjelmointikoodin asettaminen
Ensimmäinen toimenpide on ohjelmointikoodin
vaihtaminen.
1. Syötä **1234**, laite menee ohjelmointitilaan,
punainen LED vilkkuu hitaasti.
2. Syötä 2 , odota, kunnes punainen LED vilkkuu
nopeasti
3. Syötä 000 #, odota, kunnes punainen LED
vilkkuu nopeasti
4. Syötä uusi ohjelmointikoodi (4…8 numeroa).
5. Syötä #, odota, kunnes punainen LED vilkkuu
nopeasti
6. syötä uusi ohjelmointikoodi uudestaan
7. Syötä #
8. Punainen LED palaa noin 2 sekuntia, jonka
jälkeen se alkaa vilkkua hitaasti.
9. Jatka muiden toimintojen ohjelmointia tai poistu
ohjelmointitilasta syöttämällä #
Esimerkki: Ohjelmointikoodi 112233

Muista tallentaa ohjelmointikoodi varmaan talteen!
Koodien ohjelmointi ja
vaihtaminen
1.
Syötä **ohjelmointikoodi**, laite menee
ohjelmointitilaan, punainen LED vilkkuu hitaasti
2. Syötä 2 , odota, kunnes punainen LED vilkkuu
nopeasti
3. Syötä uuden tai vaihdettavan koodin koodipaikka
(001…200) ja #
4. Syötä uusi koodi (4…8 merkkiä) ja #.
5. Syötä koodi uudestaan ja #.
6. Punainen LED palaa noin 2 sekuntia, jonka
jälkeen se alkaa vilkkua hitaasti.
7. Voit jatkaa koodien ohjelmointia/vaihtamista
jatkamalla kohdasta 3 tai lopeta ohjelmointi
painamalla #.
Esimerkki: **ohjelmointikoodi** 2 003# 2580# 2580#
-> koodipaikkaan 003 ohjelmoitiin koodiksi 2580#.
Koodien poistaminen
yksitellen
1. Syötä **ohjelmointikoodi**, laite menee
ohjelmointitilaan, punainen LED vilkkuu hitaasti
2. Syötä 3, odota, kunnes punainen LED vilkkuu
nopeasti
3. Syötä poistettava koodipaikka ja #
4. Punainen LED palaa noin 2 sekuntia, jonka
jälkeen se alkaa vilkkua nopeasti
5. Syötä poistettava koodipaikka uudestaan ja #
6. Punainen LED palaa noin 2 sekuntia, jonka
jälkeen se alkaa vilkkua hitaasti.
7. Jatka muiden toimintojen ohjelmointia tai poistu
ohjelmointitilasta syöttämällä #.
Esimerkki: **ohjelmointikoodi** 3 003# 003#
-> poistaa koodin koodipaikasta 003
Kaikkien koodien poistaminen
1. Syötä **ohjelmointikoodi**, laite menee
ohjelmointitilaan, punainen LED vilkkuu hitaasti.
2. Syötä 4, odota, kunnes punainen LED vilkkuu
nopeasti
3. Syötä ohjelmointikoodi uudelleen ja syötä #.
4. Punainen LED palaa noin 2 sekuntia, jonka
jälkeen se alkaa vilkkua erittäin nopeasti
5. Kaikkien koodien poistaminen kestää noin 40s,
jona aikana et voi tehdä muita
ohjelmointitoimenpiteitä. Kun LED syttyy taas
hetkiseksi ja alkaa sen jälkeen taas vilkkua
hitaasti, on kaikki koodit poistettu.
6. Jatka muiden toimintojen ohjelmointia tai poistu
ohjelmointitilasta syöttämällä #.
Esimerkki: **ohjelmointikoodi** 4 ohjelmointikoodi #
 poistaa kaikki koodit
Lukon aukiohjausajan
muuttaminen
1. Syötä **ohjelmointikoodi**, laite menee
ohjelmointitilaan, punainen LED vilkkuu hitaasti
2. Syötä 1 , odota, kunnes punainen LED vilkkuu
nopeasti
3. Syötä haluamasi aukiohjausaika sekunteina
kahdella numerolla (01…99), tehdasasetus 05 =
5s
4. Syötä #
5. Punainen LED palaa noin 3 sekuntia, jonka
jälkeen se alkaa vilkkua hitaasti.
6. Jatka muiden toimintojen ohjelmointia tai poistu
ohjelmointitilasta syöttämällä #.

4. Syötä #
5. Punainen LED palaa noin 3 sekuntia, jonka

Tällä toiminnolla palautetaan laitteen
tehdasasetukset. Huom! Ei poista ohjelmoituja
koodeja. Muista poistaa vakiokoodi koodipaikasta
200, ellet halua koodia käyttöön
1. Poista jännite
2. Palauta jännite ja näppäile 3 sekunnin sisällä
Jännitteen kytkemisestä **1234#
3. Laitteen muisti on tyhjentynyt ja laite on
palautunut seuraaviin tehdasasetuksiin:
 Ohjelmointikoodi 1234#
 Vakiokoodi 567890# koodipaikassa 200

