Dear Chicagoland Speedway Guests,
On behalf of our staff and volunteers,
I welcome you to Chicagoland
Speedway’s 2011 season. We truly
appreciate your continued support of
our facility and hope you enjoy yourself
during your visit.
As we celebrate our 10th Anniversary season, we are more committed
than ever to exceeding expectations by providing you with non-stop action
and excitement both on and off the track. We hope that the recent changes
implemented – wider bench seating, more restrooms on the mezzanine
level, coolers being permitted in the grandstands and more entertainment
options – speak to that commitment.
We are thrilled to kick off the season with the Messina Wildlife Animal
Stopper 150 ACRA Series race presented by Menards and the STP 300
NASCAR Nationwide Series race, and conclude our season with the
privilege of hosting the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup in September
– the first of ten “playoff” style NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races in pursuit
of the 2011 championship.
NextMedia radio stations WCCQ-FM 98.3, WWYW-FM 103.9 and
1340 WJOL-AM will deliver “The Voice of NASCAR” to race fans in the
Chicagoland area and surrounding counties all season long. For wall-towall weekend coverage of Chicagoland Speedway happenings including
regular traffic updates, tune in to 1340 WJOL-AM.
While you are visiting, be sure to take some time to enjoy everything
Chicagoland Speedway has to offer. As you stroll down the paved
walkways through Champions Park, take a moment to visit our interactive
displays, enjoy the live entertainment, and stop by the Kid’s Club Zone.
Sponsored by Radio Disney, the Kid’s Club is designed for the Speedway’s
young racing fans and will provide members with exclusive race weekend
activities, contests with great prizes, and updates on all the latest news.
As always, it is our goal that your visit to Chicagoland Speedway
is enjoyable and as pleasant as possible. We encourage your
feedback as we are always looking for ways to develop and
improve our service. So, drop us a note or send an e-mail to
[email protected] to let us know what you think.
Also, be sure to log onto www.ChicagolandSpeedway.com for the most
up-to-date information on the latest happenings around Chicagoland
Speedway. You can also scan the QR code on the back of some tickets
with your smart phone for a direct link to the most current information on
today’s events.
If you should need more information or additional assistance during the
weekend, please find one of our helpful Guest Services representatives,
or visit one of the many information booths located around the racetrack.
Whether this is your first experience at Chicagoland Speedway, or you’ve
enjoyed our facility in the past, I hope today’s events provide you with
great memories that will last a lifetime.
Again, welcome to Chicagoland Speedway and enjoy the races!
Best Regards,
Scott Paddock

DIRECTIONS AND PARKING
The traffic plan is designed to balance the traffic flow among the parking
lot entrances, allowing for smoother entrance and exit from the Speedway.
Four geographic areas have been identified, based on the zip codes of our
ticket buyers and are intended to “load” the four corners of the facility with
an equal number of vehicles. Again, you will have the best luck following the
corridor identified in the geographic area from which your route originates.
Traffic officers will give priority to vehicles utilizing the traffic plan corridors as
opposed to those who create their own traffic plan!
The “Red Line” North-West Corridor
Follow southbound I-55. Don’t be distracted by directional signs on I-55
for “Joliet Road” or “Historic Rt. 66.” These routes lead through congested
commercial and retail districts and are subject to drawbridge lifts.
• Southbound I-55 traffic SHOULD STAY on I-55 until I-80 EAST (exit 250A).
