The eighth grader from Sherrills Ford, North Carolina powered his Eibach Springs #98 Ford to the lead on lap eleven and paced the final twenty-four circuits for his first win. The eighth grader is the son of NASCAR driver, David Gilliland. CTCC at Guandong International Circuit of Zhaoqing 333 Racing is Dominant in 2014 Season Opener Zhaoqing, Guangdong, China (April 27, 2014) – A dominant performance was registered by Team Eibach customers at the opening round of the 2014 CTCC at Guandong International Circuit of Zhaoqing. For the new season, the Shanghai Volkswagen 333 Racing Team refreshed its image with a new look and technology to match. Despite a less than ideal qualifying effort, Jiang Tengyi charged forward in the final five laps of the event to claim the victory. United States Racing Association (USRA) Modifieds Trevor Hunt Finds Victory Lane at Lakeside Speedway Kansas City, KS (May 2, 2014) – 15 year old phenom, Trevor Hunt, from Kearney, Missouri parked his Snickers #99 Eibach Springs/GRT Open Wheel Modified in victory lane for the first time in 2014 at Lakeside Speedway. Hunt earned the second starting spot for the feature via preliminary feature and went on to claim the victory at the famed, ½-mile oval. Open Wheel Modified Nick Hoffman Wires Modified Field at Fayetteville Motor Speedway Fayetteville, NC (May 2, 2014) – In front of a capacity crowd at Fayetteville Motor Speedway, Eibach customer, Nick Hoffman from Mooresville, North Carolina outran the competition to claim the Open Wheel Modified feature win in his #2 Elite Chassis. Continued eibach.com Mid America Racing Series (MARS) Super Late Models Will Vaught Notches First Win of 2014 at Monett Speedway Monett, MO (May 2, 2014) – Will Vaught of Crane, Missouri picked up his first feature victory of the young 2014 racing season at Monett Speedway in Mid America Racing Series Super Late Model Series action. Thirty-one entries entered the event, and Will won his heat race in preliminary action and later started the A-Main from the outside of the second row. The driver known as “Will The Thrill” quickly moved up to the second position and eventually passed Justin Asplin for the point with only a handful of laps remaining to score the victory in his Eibach Springs #1v Warrior entry. United States Racing Association (USRA) Modifieds John Allen Goes For Two Victories in Weekend Action Humboldt, Kansas (May 3, 2014) – John Allen from Chanute, Kansas had a great weekend in his #98 Modified as he raced to victory in not one, but two United States Racing Association events. Competition opened with a win at Humboldt Speedway, and then Allen claimed his second triumph of the weekend and his third of the year at the recentlyreopened, Central Missouri Speedway. Mid America Racing Series (MARS) Super Late Models Ryan Gustin Unstoppable in Weekend Super Late Model Action Park City, Kansas (May 4, 2014) – Ryan Gustin’s dominance in the Modified ranks has been witnessed countless times over the past several years, and here he gave the Super Late Model world a glimpse of what to expect in the future as he raced to back-toback $3,000 wins. Action opened with a Mid America Racing Series versus National Championship Racing Association event at Dodge City Raceway Park. Gustin won his heat race, and then led every lap of the feature in his #19r Gressel Racing/ Eibach/Rocket Super Late Model. Saturday night found Gustin making a repeat performance with a flag-to-flag win in the challenge event at 81 Speedway. International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) Modifieds Todd Shute Conquers Iowa State Fairgrounds Des Moines, IA (May 3, 2014) – Todd Shute continued his fast start to the 2014 season by racing to the IMCA Modified feature win at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in his #5 Eibach Springs entry. International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) SportMods Two Weeks and Two Wins for Jenae Gustin Marshalltown, IA (May 3, 2014) – It may have been at two different tracks, but it didn’t matter to Jenae Gustin as she raced away from the competition in her #19J CPD Racing Tools/Eibach Springs entry for her second win in just a few short weeks. The Marshalltown, Iowa-driver started the feature from the second row, but wasted little time in driving to the lead and ultimately her first-ever win at Independence Motor Speedway. After finishing second in the first event, Pulliam, who is the two-time defending NASCAR Whelen All American Series national champion, surged forward from his sixth starting spot on lap 22 to take the lead. He went on to cruise away from the field to score the win by 2.852 seconds in his Eibach Springs #75 entry. United Midwestern Promoters (UMP) Modifieds Joey Kramer Back on Top in UMP Modified Action Lawrenceburg, IN (May 3, 2014) – Hanover, Indiana’s Joey Kramer powered his #77 Eibach Springs/Modified to his second win of the 2014 season on Saturday night at the state-of-the-art Lawrenceburg Speedway. International Motorsports Contest Association (IMCA) Modifieds Zane DeVilbiss Gets Career Win #100 Aztec, NM (May 3, 2014) – It was a career night for Farmington, New Mexico’s Zane DeVilbiss on Saturday evening at Aztec Speedway, who piloted his #18z Eibach Springs entry to not only the IMCA Modified feature win, but also the 100th win of his young career! Silver State 300 Cognito Motorsports Sets Silver State 300 on Fire Las Vegas, NV (May 4, 2014) – Cognito Motorsports took their brand-new Polaris RZR 4 XP1000 into battle in the grueling Silver State 300 over the weekend and came away with a major victory. Despite starting fifteenth on the grid on a dusty course, the team rapidly worked their way through the field, and by the race’s midway point they were within five minutes of the leaders. Shortly thereafter, pilots Justin Lambert and Jeremiah Staggs blazed into the lead in the event that serves as a part of the Best in the Desert competition. Once out front they never looked back on their way to the coveted win! IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Championship Mazda Domination at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, CA (May 4, 2014) – Still hot off their victory at Sebring, Randy Pobst and his Freedom Autosport No. 26 Mazda MX-5 team, with co-driver Andrew Carbonell, headed to NorCal for round 3 of the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Championships at Mazda Raceway. With the recent history of Freedom Autosport’s three consecutive wins with Andrew at the wheel, the team knew they had a good shot at a podium at the track that holds their manufacturer’s name. These Eibach-equipped MX-5s did not disappoint, taking the top four spots. Randy qualified third and started the race; he remained third throughout several caution flags and turned the car over to Andrew relatively early due to pit strategy. Andrew continued racing the other Mazdas, eventually making some impressive and difficult passes to take the top spot.
