Lovell, the defending Pro-Light champion in the Traxxas TORC Series presented by AMSOIL, had suffered through a long string of bad luck at the start of this season before finally picking up his first Pro-Light victory of the year with his Eibach Springs equipped Nissan. Lovell qualified on the pole for the race and had the truck to beat from the outset. He led the first half of the race despite a couple of restarts following accidents and lapped traffic. On a restart following a competition caution, Lovell lost the lead. His ‘Will to Win’ paid dividends a couple of laps later when the leader’s tire let go and Lovell cruised on to victory from there. In the tenth round of the Pro-2 division, Bryce Menzies battled for the lead throughout the entire race before securing the spot after the mid-way yellow flag. Menzies had clean air for the remainder of the round and ran the truck to the top of the box. Eibach Springs, Inc.
