Birthday Girls - John Noel Management
Birthday Girls Birthday Girls are a comedy sketch group who are very good at writing sketches but not very good at writing biogs. They are: Beattie Edmondson (the funny one), Rose Johnson (the funny one) and Camille Ucan (the funny one), whose five-‐star rated show Party Vibes enjoyed sell out runs at the Edinburgh Festival, and as a result was transferred to the Soho Theatre at the end of the year and again enjoyed a sold out run, with extra shows added due to popular demand. The Skinny described the show as ‘A different class… This is joy.’ Birthday Girls are currently writing for various children’s TV shows and trying out new material and dance routines for their brand new live show which they'll be taking to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year. They are also writing and performing sketches for ITV2 comedy entertainment series @elevenish and working with producers Turtle Canyon on a mini web series and developing other scripts for TV and online. Birthday Girls perform regularly on the live comedy circuit and at various festivals such as Latitude, Bestival, Secret Garden Party and Mach Comedy Fest. They have also featured on BBC Radio 4’s Sketchorama, appeared in BBC1’s Absolutely Fabulous and, alongside sketch group Pappy’s, formed the ensemble cast for the second series of the BBC Bitesize videos, and featured in Channel 4’s Robert’s Web. Beattie, Rose and Camille are all former members of critically-‐acclaimed sketch group Lady Garden (‘Britain’s funniest women’ – Telegraph), who also performed regularly at the Edinburgh Festival, were finalists in the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year Competition, and appeared on BBC3’s Live at the Electric, BBC1’s Dick and Dom’s Funny Business, BBC1’s Comic Relief parody Uptown Downstairs Abbey, and BBC Radio 4’s Front Row and Sketchorama. www.birthdaygirlscomedy.com www.youtube.com/Birthdaygirlscomedy For more information, please contact Tiffany Agbeko 0207 428 8400 / [email protected]
