We can’t wait to serve you our tasty treats, be that our mouth watering Steak sandwich, fresh juicy mussels! Or if your going all in, the Rib-eye to die for all Danish born and breed Grambogaard, might be the right choice for you. Like all good things, time will age us well, and hence what might be missing now, will be added in due time. But please feel free to give us any critique or feedback either here, on Facebook, travel advisor, yelp etc. This way we can improve and serve you even better next time - Much appreciation the Lanterne Rouge Family The name Lanterne Rouge has several meanings The original meaning was the Red Lantern hanging on the back of a train carriage, this way the driver of the train could look back when turning to see that he had not lost the last wagon. Secondly it has been used for naming the last bicycle rider to cross the finish line. This list is actually saved and remembered just as well as the guys finishing first. So why the name? - Because it is not always about coming in first, but also about enjoying the ride, taking it a little easier than the rest, and having time to enjoy the scenery - which in this historic street of Copenhagen is quite lovely. So sit back - relax - take your time - and remember to enjoy life instead of racing ahead to be the first across the line… Breakfast is the most important meal of the day… or so they say! 10 am until 12 pm Petit dejuner Steamed scrambled eggs, baguette, butter a few slices of ham and cheese Kr. 65,Croissant Kr. 25,- Organic Juice Elderflower Fresh Large Organic Orange juice or Freshly pressed lemonade Kr. 45,- Kr. 35- Coffee & Tea Always made with a double shot organic espresso To Go / To Stay Espresso Kr. 15,- / 20,Americano Kr. 15,- / 20,Cortado Kr. 15,- / 25,Cappuccino Kr. 15,- / 35,Flat White Kr. 15, / 35,Latté Kr. 15,- / 35Iced latte Kr. 15,- / 35,Organic Hot Chocolate Kr. 45,Chai Latte w. honey Kr. 35,Tea (Roibus, Green, White, Earl Grey) 30,And YES we do have Soy-milk (2 kr. extra) “I went to a restaurant that serves "breakfast at any time" so I ordered French toast during the Renaissance.” Side of Fries with homemade Aioli Lunch menu (11:00-16:00) Chèvre Chaud Goats cheese salad with beetroot, walnuts and olives Kr. 135,- Side of mixed salad Kr. 45,Kr. 45,- Steak Sandwich Real steak, gruyere cheese, tartarsauce, pickled onions on a salad base Kr. 165,Moules-Frittes (half size) Moules-Frittes (full size) Kr. 135,Kr. 195,- Hand cut Tartar with Fries and homemade Aioli (For lunch minimum of 2 orders) Kr. 195,Rib-eye Steak ’n’ Bearnaise with Fries and homemade Aioli - Danish breed meat Kr. 235,- Wine recommendations on the flipside!
