a new layer (Layer 6).

to Vivid Lrght, and lower
the Opacity to

ing a large, soft-edged
brush, paint in a highlight over the top-center part of the logo. Duplicate Layer 6
(Layer 6 copy) by dragging it onto the Create a New Layer
icon. Change the blend mode to Overlay, and the Opacity to
100%. Deselect.
STEP THIRTEEN: Add another
new layer (Layer 7), and move it to
the bottom of the layers stack, but
above the origrnal Background layer
Command-click (PC: Ctrl-click) on
the Layer 1 thumbnail, then ShiftCommand-click (PC: Shift-Ctrl-click)
on the Layer 2 thumbnail to add it
to the selection. Press D to set the
Foreground color to black. Choose
the Gradient tool, click on the gradient thumbnail in the Options Bar,
choose Foreground
io Transparent, and click OK. Now, click-
and-drag a Gradient from the top toward the bottom of the
selection. Deselect. Use the Move tool (V) and click-and-drag
the shadow image you lust created down (see example).
