Work included icon creation, low and high fidelity wireframes and page mockups Development: Front-end development including all imagery, HTML, CSS, jQuery, collaboration with back-end programmer to decide on best implementation approaches for various map features, default limit on results listed, etc. CEFCU Accomplishments: ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● Reduced page load time by 48% Replaced numerous background graphics with CSS Replaced use of SiFR with Google Web Fonts Introduced CSS3 features with backwards compatibility Created interactive product demos for both employees and members Advocated for the importance of user experience when trying to meet business needs Updated the way content is displayed on the site, including creation of an introductory paragraph for content pages, increased line height and fontsize, trying to maintain an ‘as needed’ approach to copy, etc. Accomplished implementation of a new approach to web content, increasing collaboration between marketing and internet services, eliminating the ideology of the past that print always comes first. Site-wide implementation of Google Fonts (Open Sans) to reduce the number of custom graphics CEFCU 2012 ● ● ● ● Additional updates to styles and colors to reflect branding changes Updated design & development for evolving login needs to support new online banking solution Complete redesign of right nav module to focus on key actions and promote learning materials. All right nav images along with button and module backgrounds condensed into sprites to reduce page load time.
