Waterloo Farm.This annual recreation of the holiday’s traditions includes tours of the ten-room farmhouse, the authentic log house, eight outbuildings, and the oneroom Dewey School. Tour tickets are available at the museum, Chelsea Pharmacy or call 734-562-2008. Visitors are welcome to join a docent led walking tour of the historic homes. Main Street (street closed to thru traffic during the parade). 10th annual parade featuring dozens of lighted floats and vehicles, marching bands, and the big guy himself, Santa! The Parade route changes this year, it starts at Chelsea State Bank’s south-end lot (by Old US-12) and heads north on Main Street to Jackson Street. The Parade does not cross the railroad tracks this year. SugarPlum Tea 12:30pm. Chelsea High School, 740 N. Freer Road. The Sugar Plum Tea is a festive event before the 2 pm Sunday matinee performance of The Nutcracker. Guests are invited to dress for the occasion and bring their young guests to this delightful addition to The Nutcracker. Tickets are available online and in person at the Ballet Chelsea Studios. Homemade Tween & Teen Gifts for the Holidays 1:30 – 3pm. Chelsea District Library McKune Room (Registration Required, Ages 10-17). Need a present for a friend or family member? Who doesn’t like a homemade gift? Make your holiday presents here in the library! What we’ll be making is a surprise, but we’ll make it and wrap it that day!
